The Patented Smart Tie™ Hybrid system denotes the mixture of polymers within the buckle part which allows for a dramatic increase in strength. High Strength Glass filled teeth are snapped into a more flexible plastic buckle to create the perfect combination allowing the Smart Tie™ hybrid system to become the strongest plastic cable tie in the world.

The Smart Tie™ is supported by extensive technical data covering all aspects of the offshore & subsea environment. In addition it is supplied with a full range of manual and pneumatic installation tooling designed specifically for offshore use. We would encourage Customer utilising alternative tie solutions such as Stainless steel cable ties or titanium cable ties or metal cable ties should consider the Smart Tie™ a viable solution.

Furthermore Smart Tie™ has been installed successfully subsea for the past 10 years and is made from long life proven material which will last for over 30 years in installation. It is constantly generating its own track record & project reference history.

Applications that should be considered appropriate for Smart Tie™ mainly centre on the SURF area of the industry but generally centre on applications with a smaller diameter especially important are the Cable protection systems that are widely used in the subsea environment and Downhole Cable attachment where Metallic solutions often cause operation problems.
